On Sunday, March 27, 2011, the Italian-American Community welcomed the President of the Italian Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, in order to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy.  The Italy-America Chamber of Commerce, Il Consolato Generale d'Italia, and many prominent members from the Italian-American Community celebrated this event honoring the President at a Luncheon held at the St. Regis Hotel.  Although guests came from many different organizations and some, many different backgrounds, they still enjoyed the beautiful scenery, exquisite food, and great company, while remembering the Anniversary of Italy's Unification and honoring the President of the Italian Republic.
