After 125 years the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce instituted the Women's Forum which was inaugurated by hosting a Luncheon at The Leopard at des Artistes to honor the first female Minister as the representative of Italy in New York, Natalia Quintavalle. The mission statement of the Women’s Forum powered by the IACC, is to promote, foster and support women’s ability to interact and create an environment where they can present their views, their ideas and projects while networking.  Women’s vision is fundamental in expanding the chamber’s commitment and role in business, professional and commercial relations between Italy and the United States.

The opening speech was initiated by Mr Claudio Bozzo, President of the IACC, who introduced Doctor Francesca Verga, the President of the Women's Forum.  Doctor Verga then succinctly announced the mission statement of the Women's Forum and future events which would be hosted by the IACC.
