Anteo Societa’ Agricola

Our history has its roots in a traditional family’s passion for taste and good food. With Anteo our goal is excellence, bringing to the table an authentic and inimitable taste, a delight not only to the palate, but to the senses.

We are a family company and the founder, Giorgio Canelli, is a Milanese industrialist who for many years trained at the head of a large chemical factory, based both in Italy and abroad.

Our story began in Ciociaria, with the choice of investing in clean energy through the construction of a photovoltaic plant mounted on greenhouses, to honor our land’s resources. During the construction of the photovoltaic fields, some buffaloes escaped from the neighboring land and started to placidly graze amongst the greenhouses. From this chance meeting (perhaps it was destiny…), the idea to acquire the small farm and take over the dairy production was born.

We are well aware that artisanal production requires important investments in human and technological resources, but excellence is no accident, and this is our challenge.
