Calabria Region Master Class – May 18

Starting at 5:30pm on our YouTube Channel we will broadcast our fifth True Italian Taste Master Class “Boot” Camp session focusing on the Calabria region!

During this Master Class, participants will be led on a guided exploration of the flavors of Italy’s Calabria region by a panel of expert speakers including Jackie Rothong (New York City Culinary Producer, Food Stylist, Recipe Developer and Chef & Brand Ambassador Viking Range LLC), IACC Executive Director Federico Tozzi, Francesco Lupo (Food Marketing Specialist), Michele Cianciulli (Owner and Founder of Enoclassica Wines) and Guest Chef Silvia Barban (Co-Owner and Executive Chef LaRina Pastificio e Vino). Participants will embark on a journey of discovery of Calabria’s PDO and PGI products, delving into the characteristics and qualities that define these products, explaining the geographic significance associated with their production and unique characteristics. For viewers at home, Chef Jackie Rothong and Chef Silvia Barban will introduce simple recipes that you can recreate at home featuring these delicious PDO and PGI ingredients! Register HERE
