On November 30, the IACC hosted its first Italian Luxury and Design Summit, organized in collaboration with the Luxury Marketing Council and BAV Group, Y&R’s global strategic consultancy group with expertise in customer insights and marketing strategies. Over 150 attendees gathered at Y&R’s global headquarters to participate in a day-long conference featuring panel discussions exploring the current climate and future direction of the luxury market. Panel topics included “The Future of Retail and the Role of ‘Country of Origin’ Branding,” “The State of the Luxury Market Today,” and “Looking Ahead...How Luxury Brands are Planning to Make the 2017 Holiday Season and 2018 Profitable.”
