GDPR Webinar - EMazzanti Technologies: “What’s in Your Data and Why You Should Care”
October 25th, 2018 - eMazzanti Technologies held their 3rd webinar on GDPR Compliance, titled:
“What’s in Your Data and Why You Should Care”
During this one hour webinar Carl Mazzanti discussed the imperativeness of taking the time to bring your business into GDPR compliance and maintaining compliance as your organization moves forward and grows.
The webinar delved into the specifics of the relatively new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) law that was implemented, including the benefits of compliance (principally improved data management and removal of redundant, outdated or trivial data which composes 40-70% of companies' preserved information), and the penalties for lack thereof. With these regulations, companies are held accountable more than ever before, and Data Protection Agencies (DPAs) have obtained significant power to enforce severe penalties for breaches of personal data.
A very informative webinar, the presentation is available with all relevant information enclosed, we highly suggest giving it a read. View the presentation by clicking this link.
